Who We Are
We are all about working together as a family here at BW Blacksmith. For years we have been a DIY family, from building coffee tables to building homes, together we have done it all. It all started with my grandpa (the man behind the brand). He was always eager to learn new things and loved a challenge. His journey started as a small town mechanic in Montana, with four kids and a wife. As the years passed he taught himself many trades, he was a plumber, farmer, mechanic, electrician, carpenter, and much more. He was the type of man who never met a stranger, he could always put a smile on your face. He loved spending time working on projects as a family and passing his knowledge down to others. In the later years of his life, he became enthralled with saving history, especially the working man’s history. He collected a vairy of antiques over the years, the last 10 years his passion became blacksmithing. He built his own forge and created his own blacksmith shop. Sadly He passed away before he could really start making his blacksmith projects so we are here to carry on his legacy. With his knowledge and wisdom, we are able to create these wonderful pieces that are sure to be in the family for generations to come.
What We Do
Using real steel and solid wood, we create one of a kind pieces. We take our knowledge and love for DIY projects and put them to work. By designing and building all of our products. All of our items are 100% custom and made by us in the USA. We too believe in doing the best in everything you do. Which means anything we create you can rest assured it will last a lifetime and then some.
How We Help Fight Cancer
Cancer research is something that is very near and dear to our heart here at BW Blacksmith. Though we wish we could do more, we are donating 5% of all proceeds towards cancer research. We are truly thankful to you for joining the BW Blacksmith family and helping us make a difference in the lives of those fighting this terrible disease. Cancer is something that no one should ever have to endure, sadly it is not something you can choose to avoid. We have experienced the toll cancer can take on a family first hand. It’s never easy watching a loved one suffer from this disease. The battle that is fought is long and gruesome, and unbeknownst as to why some win and some lose. Sadly we lost, we lost someone whom we deeply loved, a pillar in our family, a mentor, an inspiration, a fighter, a father, grandfather and friend. It was heartbreakingly hard but it really helped us realize the magnitude of this terrible disease. So we decided that we wanted to make a difference, no, we are not scientists, we don’t have medical degrees, we cant magically fix this. However thanks to our Father/Grandfather we do have the ability to create amazing handmade products, that can help us get the money to those scientists and doctors who can make a difference.
